How it HeART Workshop with Silvia Ricci
Date: Saturday 6 December

On Saturday 6 December, we invite you to a workshop with Silvia Ricci and her project How it HeART.

Silvia Ricci (b. 1990, Italy) works with drawing and ceramics, and lives and works in Trondheim with a studio at Atelier Ilsvika. Her artistic practice combines relational art and art therapy, exploring themes of identity, memory, and the body. Through her workshops, she creates spaces for shared reflection and encounters – where the relational process becomes an integral part of the work itself.

Ricci studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti L’Aquila in Italy and trained in Art Therapy at Arti Terapie Emilia Romagna in Bologna. She is also the founder of the long-running drawing initiative Urban Sketchers Trondheim.

More information about the event will be announced soon!

“My Norwegian Christmas” with Ana Dunjic

In December, we invite you to a performative event with artist Ana Dunjić.

Ana Dunjić (b. 1983) is a Trondheim-based artist and filmmaker with an MFA from the Trondheim Academy of Fine Art and a BA in Film Editing from the Faculty of Arts, Belgrade. She works with experimental film, video, installation, and sculpture. Her work has been presented in a solo exhibition at Babel visningsrom for kunst and group exhibitions at Galleri KiT, TKM Gråmølna, Dokkhuset, Cinemateket, Trondheim Torg, and as an outdoor sculpture installation at Marinen in Trondheim.

More details about the event will be announced soon!

As a regional art centre, Trøndelag Centre for Contemporary Art aims to be an open and inclusive arena for everyone in Trøndelag and Trondheim.

The Shout Out project is a new initiative designed to lower barriers to participation in the art and cultural sector. By offering professional artists with minority backgrounds the opportunity to realise their own cultural projects, we seek to create meeting places and amplify new voices within the field of art and culture. The three artists were selected through an open call earlier in October, for which we received thirteen applications.

The project is led by Sofiia Mishchenko, who recently joined TSSK through the Norwegian Arts Council’s Aspirant Scheme, which aims to include cultural workers with ethnic minority backgrounds in professional arts and cultural institutions.

The project is supported by Trondheim Municipality.
