Karmaklubb* with Kiyoshi Yamamoto & friends: The Secret Flamingo, Maria Veie Sandvik, Mabell +++

Earlier this year Kiyoshi Yamamoto presented his major solo exhibition 'My Hair Loves BAD Weather!' at Trøndelag Centre for Contemporary Art. As a part of this project he has invited the nomadic queer club concept and conversational platform Karmaklubb* to present conversations, text-releases, drag shows, DJs, nightclubbing, wine, good vibrations and parties.

Tidligere i år presenterte den bergensbaserte kunstneren Kiyoshi Yamamoto utstillingen 'My Hair Loves BAD Weather!' ved Trøndelag senter for samtidskunst. I den forbindelse har han invitert med nomadiske queer club-konseptet og samtaleplattformen Karmaklubb* til et samarbeid. Den 1. og 2. oktober vil det være mulig å få med seg samtaler, tekstslipp, dragshows, DJs, nattklubb, bar, god stemning og fest.www.samtidskunst.no

DAY 1: Friday, 1 October 202118:00: Doors open
19:00: Vorspiel; music, bar, special T-shirts and come visit for a chat!
20:00: Launch and ‘thought and pleasure’ session with Maria Veie Sandvik, 'Make America Gay Again!' (2021). On clubbing, and an expanded view on publishing.
21.00: An introduction to Mabell Holand. And the weekend programme in general! Also a special selection of ‘queer wine’, sparkling.
21:30: Drag, burlesque, and ‘in-between’ by The Secret Flamingo: Drama Tique, Queen B'Licious, Valentina Chanel, Super Gay, and Yuki!
22.30: DJ (Tyven crew TBA), club
01:00: Doors close

DAY 2: Saturday, 2 October 202114:00: Open, bar, special T-shirts and come visit for a chat!
15:00 to 17:00: A couple of hours fluid afternoon conversations, ‘thought and pleasure’; Karmaklubb*, Kiyoshi Yamamoto, Mabell Holand, The Secret Flamingo, and friends
18:00: Saturday mingle with ‘queer wine’ menu and tunes at Tyven
23:00: Karmaklubb* satellite at ME: Drag extravaganza with The Secret FlamingoAll events at TSSK has *FREE* admission.Karmaklubb* is a celebration of good things. It is queer and nomadic by nature, doing clubbing, publishing (we like words), ‘thought and pleasure’ sessions at museums, bars, artist driven hubs, public spaces — wherever. And we are liquid.
