Join artist Astrid Ljungberg for a family-friendly workshop inspired by the artworks of Hanne Øverland and Sidsel Palmstrøm!Children of all ages, accompanied by adults, can explore art through colorful yarn and rope. Try embroidery and macramé knotting, or create your own color chart of birds and butterflies using yarn and textiles. Let your imagination run wild!

DROP IN WORKSHOPS, MARCH 1–9

Time: 12:00 – 18:00 (Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 – 16:00)

Explore the exhibition and visit our workshop station, where families, youth, and adults can gather to create. Browse illustrated books on Norwegian birds and craft your own textile color charts. Try different techniques, including stitching, braiding, embroidery, and macramé.

The workshop is self-guided, and all materials are available for use.

All winter break activities are free and supported by SpareBank 1 SMN – Samfunnsutbyttet.
