Kenneth Balfelt: Kunst i byutvikling – fra sosiale vilkår til fysisk form
Trøndelag Centre for Contemporary Art invites you to a Breakfast Meeting on Friday, September 27th at 9:00 AM! The event is open to anyone interested in working with public art as a curator, artist, art consultant, or similar roles.
Based in Denmark, visual artist Kenneth Balfelt has, through his 25-year artistic career, made a significant mark on socially engaged art. Balfelt will this Friday provide an in-depth insight into his projects and methods, and after the lecture, he will lead a workshop based on his methods.

Kenneth Balfelt is the director of Kenneth Balfelt Team (KBT). KBT always follow a principle from A to Z: Whatever they do in architecture, landscape, user involvement, strategic advice, or knowledge production, the results are better when they follow the process from start to finish.
KBT work interdisciplinarily, typically within themes such as urban development, architecture, disadvantaged housing areas, vulnerable people, employment of the vulnerable, youth, conflict resolution between the vulnerable and other user groups around them, utilizing people's untapped resources, development, and empowerment.
KBT are passionate about creating space and methods in institutions, cities, and urban development to include vulnerable groups - broadly understood - in society.
One of their core competencies is translating social conditions into physical forms and frameworks.
