The 50th Trøndelagsutstillingen opens at Kunstmuseet NordTrøndelag in Namsos on Saturday 24 October at 1 pm. The exhibition runs until 30 December, following its presentation in Trondheim earlier this autumn.
Lars Peder Brekk, Chair of the Board of Museet Midt, will give the opening remarks, with a musical performance by Lene Løberg. The Kulturkafe will be open and serve light refreshments.
Trøndelagsutstillingen is a juried regional exhibition for artists with ties to Trøndelag. The exhibition is organised by Trøndelag Bildende Kunstnere (TBK) and administered by Trøndelag senter for samtidskunst (TSSK). In 2026, Trøndelagsutstillingen is presented for the 50th time.
Showing the exhibition at different venues across the region has been part of Trøndelagsutstillingen’s history as a travelling exhibition since its first edition in 1977. In its anniversary year, the 50th edition travels from Trondheim to Kunstmuseet NordTrøndelag in Namsos.
